.October 21, 2009 - There wasn't much movement on the overall top 10 list of users playing on Live this week. It's still Halo 3 on top, Call of Duty 4 at second, World at War at third, and ODST at number four, just like the previous rankings. Further down the list, Grand Theft Auto IV and FIFA 10 swap spots, as do Left 4 Dead and the South Park Xbox Live Arcade game. So perhaps the most notable aspect of the charts for the week of Oct. 12 is that people really like South Park. Considering some of the games being released now, such as Gearbox's Borderlands, we'll see how things are shaken up, if at all, in the weeks to come.June 30, 2009 - This time it's Bungie's Halo 3 that manages to pull ahead of everything else for the top spot on the weekly Live activity rankings posted on majornelson.com.
Treyarch's Call of Duty: World at War drops to number two, with Infinity Ward's Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare and Epic's Gears of War 2 trailing behind. Rockstar's Grand Theft Auto IV, EA's FIFA 09, and Valve's Left 4 Dead continue to be popular, and it seems people are still hitting Radical Entertainment's Prototype pretty hard.June 23, 2009 - Activision has to be pretty happy right now. With Modern Warfare 2 on track to be released this November, Treyarch's World at War hitting number one on Xbox Live, and Infinity Ward's Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare not far behind, it seems the Call of Duty money-making machinery is in no danger of slowing down. Other top 10 regular's like Bungie's Halo 3, Rockstar's Grand Theft Auto IV, and Epic's Gears of War 2 make appearances high up on the top Xbox Live titles list, along with Radical Entertainment's new open-world superhero title Prototype. Castle Crashers on Xbox Live Arcade and the RC-AirSim community game continue to rank high.April 28, 2009 - Much like last week, Halo 3, Call of Duty: World at War, Call of Duty 4, and Gears of War 2 retain the top four spots in the same order. Below that there was a little bit of shuffling around, with the recently released UFC 2009 Undisputed demo making an appearance, Left 4 Dead climbing a bit, and Guitar Hero: World Tour getting pushed off.
On the Top Arcade titles list Hasbro Family Game Night and OutRun Online Arcade swapped spots, with Castle Crashers remaining in third and last week's Lode Runner taking over the number four position. RC Air Sim continues to hold the number one position in the community games category.March 18, 2009 - REDWOOD CITY, Calif.-(BUSINESS WIRE)-The EA Play Label of Electronic Arts, Inc.
